北京时间6月28日，随着次轮选秀告终，24年NBA选秀大会正式落下帷幕，去年用17号签选中席菲诺成为笑柄的湖人与佩林卡成功打好翻身仗，连续奉献超神表现，并且整体选人思路出现明显改变，湖人2天连签5人，詹姆斯直接开香槟。
首轮：17号签捡漏
再度手握17号签的湖人没有走老路，而是放弃所谓的天赋与潜力，直接挑选了一名符合球队赢在当下的即战力，并最终成功在17顺位选中锋卫摇摆人道尔顿-克内克特。
毫无疑问，这是一次捡漏操作，因为在选秀大会前的各家美媒预测中，道尔顿-克内克特的预测顺位一直都是前十。
因此，在湖人选中克内克特之后，美媒雅虎体育在评价首轮选秀时，给了湖人A+的高评分，也是本届选秀中唯一的A+。
作为一名即战力球员，克内克特23-24赛季出战36场比赛，场均出战30.6分钟，就可以高效拿到21.7分4.9篮板，三分命中率39.7%。
他的特点是攻强守弱，进攻端几乎无死角，无论是三分投射，还是中距离与空切攻框都是他的拿手好戏，并且身体素质不俗，具备低位惩罚小体型球员的能力。
问题是缺乏组织能力，同时防守缺乏纪律性，防守选位与横移都存在明显问题，即便如此，佩林卡还是非常满意，将其视作合理的3D补强，并直言这是一次捡漏，因为在选秀大会前，湖人管理层一致认为他会在前十被选中。
次轮：55号签选择布朗尼
在次轮选秀大会开始前，里奇保罗明确威胁除湖人之外的其他球队，表示不要选择布朗尼，否则后者将直接前往澳洲联赛效力，甚至传出布朗尼希望落选的消息。

第二笔签约：双向合同签下法国前锋阿尔梅尔-特拉奥雷
在法国球员过去几年连续获得选秀高顺位的情况下，湖人也选择用双向淘宝一名法国球员。
21岁的特拉奥雷身高2米03，体重95公斤，已经打了5年职业篮球，23-24赛季效力于法甲，场均交出10.7分7.1篮板1.5助攻，是一名防守为主的锋线。
E10继续捡漏
在双向合同连续签约后，湖人又用E10合同签下落选秀昆西-奥利瓦里。
奥利瓦里身高190.5cm，司职后场，23-24赛季场均交出19.1分5.6篮板，是NCAA泽维尔大学队内得分王，进攻端主要以突破和外线投射为主，但身体天赋有限，同时缺乏组织能力。
